MY BREATH IS A BULLET
This zine focuses on Kathleen Hanna and how she contributed to the Riot Grrrl movement from the 90s to the modern day. I chose to stick to a strict colour palette that expressed the theme of Riot Grrrl and purposely used my own handwriting that was inspired by the zines created during the movement.
THAT KIND OF FACE
This series of pieces are inspired by model, singer and actress Grace Jones from which I created an alphabet inspired by cigarettes and a cigarette packet using Grace Jones quotes. Jones was known for having a cigarette in her hand nearly all the time which inspired me to focus on smoke, cigarettes and packets.
